Assistant Bid Manager
Role Purpose:
The main feature of this role will be to offer support to the Bid Lead, Sales Director and each of the UK Services business units, ensuring the effective provision of bid support, maintaining an up-to-date bid library and accurate salesforce reporting.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for PQQ’s, tenders, presentations and workshops as required. Keep all stakeholders fully updated on progress
Identify, review, evaluate and understand the requirements of identified business opportunities and suggest successful strategies and branding for response
Work closely with the Bid Lead and BDM/BDD to manage tenders from initiation to submission
Write bespoke and specific bid responses and provide support for other team members as appropriate
Develop and deliver exceptional tender documents and presentations in line with Company standards
Work with the Bid Lead to cultivate a community. Train and develop BUSCs to improve writing skills
Liaise with other parts of the CBRE business to develop best practice
Produce quality and bespoke written tender response in line with solution
Maintain and prepare information, CVs and case studies for UKS bid library
Assist with preparation of materials for marketing events, presentations and client meetings as required. Attendance at industry events where required.
Weekly and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring Salesforce and pipeline reports are up to date at all times – Collate slides for MMM
Any other support as and when required

Confidential approach and discrete. Must be able to influence others, and engender confidence in senior managers through both face-to-face, telephone and written communication.
Reliable, able to complete work within the required timeframe and manage own deadline requirements. Calm manner is essential, able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasion, as required.
Skills and Education Required
Good basic education to GCSE (or equivalent standard), which will include an English and Math’s qualification. Higher educational qualifications to A level/HNC/D would be beneficial.
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge and understanding of InDesign would be beneficial, but not a necessity
Must be detail-conscious, accurate and methodical in approach. Strong organisational and communication skills. Able to work systematically and use own initiative. Able to work on more than one task at any given time. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
