This position will include evaluating both inpatients and outpatients. Faculty will participate in all facets of post-graduate and medical school instruction and teaching in a hospital setting. Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty/research expertise. Academic faculty will be active in their national organizations and foster an academic environment for medical students, residents and faculty. Qualifications Required qualifications: * MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota, board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics, and board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases * Must have demonstrated involvement in academic pursuits, either through publications anticipated, submitted or published in peer-reviewed journals * Candidates should have the necessary skills to care for children of all ages in infectious disease issues About the Department The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases provides expert clinical care and generates new knowledge about pediatric infectious diseases.
