Edelman is seeking a Seattle-based Assistant Account Executive to join its Corporate Reputation team , working on a global food & beverage client. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, a problem solver at heart, and has strong media relations and storytelling skills. - - Supporting with client service administration including notetaking in meetings, developing client agendas and recaps, preparing client status and activity reports, participating in brainstorms, scheduling, and team logistics - Showcasing a deep understanding of client business through monitoring of daily coverage, including industry competitors, assisting with compilation of client and industry media coverage reports - Preparing and proofreading client materials, specifically pitches, product key messages, fact sheets, talk tracks, media briefing documents, and more - Building and fostering ongoing relationships with key media for clients, inclusive of conducting media outreach and follow-up in alignment with pitch calendar and agile opportunities - Demonstrating a general knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. - Demonstrating an understanding of the social media industry, influencer marketing, and basic principles of community engagement - Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Edelman's values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Basic Qualifications:
- - This is an entry-level position. At least 0-6 months of relevant internship experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields - A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- - Candidates should demonstrate an interest in and understanding of the communications marketing industry and basic principles of integrated communications marketing. - Interested in Corporate Communications public relations role, working across social impact, corporate reputation, issues/crisis, and creative media storytelling programs - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills - Ability to problem solve, adapt to new conditions, deadlines, and assignments - Demonstrates strong work ethic and the ability to provide quality work to clients and teams - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
$40,000 - $50,000 a yearAn employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
