What’s a typical day as an Assembler II? You’ll be:
• Selecting appropriate components and assembling them in the correct sequence using tools such as drills, rivet guns, and soldering equipment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspecting parts during sub-assembly and at key points to maintain specified quality standards.
• Utilizing a wide range of hand tools and equipment to complete assembly processes.
• Entering product-related data into the SAP system, including component serial numbers and production rates.
• Troubleshooting work-related problems and seeking assistance when needed.
• Testing assembled units, cleaning them, and packing them for final delivery.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated product assembly.
• Have the ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
• Have the ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Have familiarity with reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints (preferred).
• Are comfortable with standing, bending, reaching, and handling bulky parts.
