Brief Company Description: AGC Heat Transfer,Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alfa Laval, AB, is the leading OEM ofsanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, manufacturing plateheat exchangers specifically designed for sanitary applications. AGCoffers complete heat exchangers, services as well as upgrades to platepacks, gaskets and spares that fit multiple brands. In addition, AGCoffers Field Leak Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers thatmeet the 3-A sanitary standard. AGC Heat Transfer consists of threemanufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR & PleasantPrairie, WI) with about 110 employees (70 OR / 20 VA / 20 otherlocations). Currently, most of the sales are in the US & Canada. Thebusiness is profitable and has more than doubled sales since Alfa Lavalacquired it in 2007. AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering culturewith a heavy emphasis on customer service and technical/consultativesales. Job Description: As an Assembly Associate, the employee willperform a wide range of tasks. Some of the responsibilities include, butare not limited to: Position Responsibilities Material handling (usingoverhead crane, hoists, forklift, pallet jack and electric pallet jack)Operating power washer to clean plates and equipment Safely use smalltools and equipment to complete daily tasks. Complete all assigned tasksin a timely and efficient manner. Keep work areas clean by sweeping ormopping where needed. Using chemical dip tanks to clean plates Doingvisual quality inspections of customer\'s plates Applying rubber gasketsto customer\'s plates Accurately counting and recording parts andequipment Preparing plate packs for shipping Actively participate incontinuous safety and production improvement efforts.
