　　Summary

　　The Assembler Specialist will assist with metal prep, painting and some light assembly to support the Fabrication team.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities

　　Use various types of hand tools in the assembly of electro-mechanical products

　　Use and interpret mechanical drawings and bills of material

　　Make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers and screws

　　Use fitting equipment such as drills, files and grinders

　　Make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses

　　Use cutters, wire strippers and crimping tools

　　Self-audit/inspect assembled work using drawings and checklists

　　Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

　　Qualifications

　　High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)

　　3+ years experience with medium/heavy mechanical assembly required

　　Certification to operate powered industrial trucks

　　Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of material and electrical schematics

　　Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
