Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will utilize basic tools and inspection equipment to ensure the production of quality parts. Your role includes minor equipment maintenance, securing a qualified First Piece Inspection after setup, and working cooperatively to achieve the production schedule. You will be responsible for reporting parts production, separating scrap parts by shift, and reporting downtime.

Responsibilities

Use basic tools for production tasks.

Utilize inspection equipment and gauges to inspect parts.

Produce quality parts to satisfy the production schedule.

Perform minor equipment maintenance as required.

Secure a qualified First Piece Inspection after setup.

Report parts production and separate scrap parts by shift.

Report downtime in the shift report.

Work cooperatively to achieve the production schedule.

Essential Skills

Experience in production.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previously held machine operator position.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs sometimes.

Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Must be able to reach with hands and arms.

Must have depth perception, color vision, close vision, and peripheral vision.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
