Description:
Candidate will be building copper wire electrical assemblies.
-will be using tools, crimping to perform assemblies

Will primarily be responsible for assembly and testing *cable assemblies, * picking orders off a computerized order sheet, *pulling order manually. *Read the build kits which is simply the instructions on how to build the units. *Assist in basic assembly. Will also conduct accuracy of units and ensure the work instructions that are sent to the customer match the kits that will be shipped out Basic Function.
Follow drawings, guidelines and/or diagrams to build various fiber optic and electrical.
products (cable assemblies, cable repair and installation kits, etc.) to required customer and
industry specifications and tolerances.
Responsibilities
Use hand tools and/or machines to assemble various shipboard, aviation, and groundtactical fiber optic and electrical components into finished goods. Note: Polishing fiber
requires repetitive figure eight hand movements.
Safely operate production tools and equipment.
Ensure orders are completed on or before the required due dates and that they meet the
required quality standards.
Read and understand drawings and schematics.
Maintain required records of production and report any inconsistencies in equipment
operation or materials to supervisor.
Maintain proper inventory traceability on components.
Train and oversee Assembler I personnel.
Lift/move material up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working with copper, wire harness building, or cables a plus Open to mechanical/electronic/electrical assembly with experience outside of "assembly line" style assemblies.
Shift: 6am-4:30pm; 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday
