  Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Manage tax provision ASC 740 income tax accounting engagements covering abroad array of transactions. Lead engagements from planning throughcompletion; plan, execute and complete tax compliance, tax planning,and provision projects on a timely basis and within budget.Review C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and individuals'federal and state tax returns, mostly on corporate engagements, includingconsolidated federal tax returns and consolidated/combined state taxreturns. Tax ASC 740 Managers must possess strong technical knowledge ofcorporate and partnership tax planning, consulting, compliance and ASC 740provMaintain ownership of projects through completion. Plan, execute andcomplete tax compliance and provision projects on a timely basis and withinbudget.Review public and private companies' annual and quarterly tax provisions.Review estimated tax payments and extensions.Research and review complex tax issues.Proactively anticipates and solves client issues, seeks opportunities toadd value to the project and client.Coach and mentor staff helping them achieve their career goalsProvide staff direct and meaningful feedbackEffectively supervise team to meet client and partner expectations.Serve as the primary client contact with economic responsibilities forbilling, realization, and collections.Develop and execute a practice development plan which includes networking,new client development and client expansion activities.The qualifications.Degree in accounting or taxationCPA license required5+ years of recent relevant tax experience in public accountingStrong technical skills specifically in public accounting with a focus in ASC740 tax provision review and preparation for private and public companiesOur difference.
