Robert Half Marketing Creative is looking for a Art Director for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

This position is 100% remote!

Job Summary:

The Art Director will be responsible for driving the creative vision and execution of campaign ideas across multiple channels. In this role, you will lead the visual and conceptual development of campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring brand stories to life. You should be skilled at generating fresh ideas, pushing creative boundaries, and guiding a team of designers, copywriters, and freelancers to produce top-tier creative work.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and drive creative concepts at the campaign level, working closely with copywriters, strategists, and other creatives to ensure ideas align with brand objectives and audience expectations.

Oversee the visual execution of campaigns across all platforms, including digital, social media, print, and experiential.

Lead brainstorming sessions to generate ideas, explore new creative directions, and encourage team collaboration.

Guide and mentor junior creatives, fostering an environment of inspiration and creative excellence.

Ensure brand consistency by adhering to visual style guidelines and helping to evolve brand aesthetics.

Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines, manage workload, and ensure seamless execution.

Pitch concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating the creative vision and the rationale behind ideas.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor campaigns, and creative best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, or related field.

5+ years of experience in art direction, with a proven track record in campaign-level concepting and execution.

Strong portfolio showcasing multi-channel campaign work and storytelling.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of digital, social, and print production processes.
