  THE POSITION

  A new and exciting opportunity awaits you! The Department of Human Services is seeking a Area Guardian Office Manager with strong leadership skills to join its dynamic team of professionals. This position can be headquartered at any of the assigned facilities listed in the Description of Work section.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  As an Area Guardian Office Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of facility guardian offices, located in the geographic area of the Commonwealth, which provide financial planning and management of competent and incompetent clients' funds. In this role, you will direct, develop, and implement both policies and procedures of the Guardianship Program and the Bureau of Administrative Services. Other key responsibilities of the position include reviewing and evaluating the financial accountability and program effectiveness of the financial planning for and the management of client's funds at assigned facilities which include Wernersville State Hospital, South Mountain Restoration Center, and Norristown State Hospital.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  Telework:The employee in this position is required to visit/work at each of their assigned facilities at least once per month (more if/as needed). The remaining time will be work from home (telework). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  Work Location: This position will be headquartered at one of the following worksite locations:

  Wernersville State Hospital, 160 Main Street, Wernersville, PA 19565 (Berks County)

  South Mountain Restoration Center, 10058 S. Mountain Road, South Mountain, PA 17261 (Franklin County)

  Norristown State Hospital, 1001 Sterigere Street, Norristown, PA 19401 (Montgomery County)

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year as a Facility Guardian Officer; or

  Two years of professional financial planning or accounting experience; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
