　　General Responsibilities:

　　Supervise crews of Archaeological Technicians during projects, ensuring the crew is following project-specific requirements for data collection.

　　Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

　　Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

　　Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.

　　Responsible for supervising small crews of Archaeological Technicians during field projects.

　　Maintains field equipment and supplies.

　　Ensures the field crew is following project-specific requirements for data collection.

　　Assists Archaeologist with conducting background research.

　　Helps writes simple technical reports under the supervision of more senior staff.

　　Assists Archaeologist with finding the necessary field personnel for specific projects.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology or above.

　　Intermediate knowledge of artifact identification, regional culture history, appropriate field methodologies, soils, and stratigraphy.

　　Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

　　Preferred Certification:
