Description:
Are you experienced in long-term care or working with the geriatric population? The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the community in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the operation of the Ministry as may be directed by the Business Office Manager or Designee. What to expect as an A/R Coordinator at Saint Mary Home :
Accurate Financial Record Keeping: Audit charges and payments with precision.
Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and collect accounts receivables to ensure financial stability.
Effective Communication: Communicate efficiently with residents and family members regarding billing inquiries.
Collaborative Work: Collaborate with a shared culture across divisions within TSLC.
Admission Agreements: Completes admission agreements for all incoming residents.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
1-2 years of prior business office or accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and financial applications (e.g., SMS, Peoplesoft).
