Compensation
We’ll pay you an Hourly salary of $19-$20

About the Job
We need you to fill the role of an Aquatics Specialist. This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
Manages , trains, and assigns work to aquatics employees, ensuring proper policies are followed, work and safety standards are maintained, and that work schedules are met.
Supervises the aquatic facility under direction of the Aquatics Director
Assists with in-service training; leads activities during training; evaluates and gives instruction to lifeguards to improve techniques; performs audits.
Hire, train, manage, and evaluate group and camp swim instructors.
Maintains information systems including but not limited to: Daxko, JackRabbit, Mobile Inventor.
Lifeguard during the off-season. 60% on deck, 40% administrative. This includes the responsibilities of a Head Lifeguard.
Job Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age .
A merican Red Cross Lifeguard W/ CPR, First Aid, AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen Training Asthma Inhaler and Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto Injector Training, and waterpark (with 30 days of hire)
Ability to swim for long distances, minimum 500 yards, and with great strength.
Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check)

Preferred Education and Experience
2 years of experience in the Aquatics industry
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer
American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor
