Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, Aquatic Staff I/II/II are responsible for teaching swim lessons in accordance with the Parks and Recreation Department's Learn to Swim Program. Lifeguards are expected to follow the policies and procedures to maintain patron safety in the facilities.Lacey Parks, Culture and Recreation manages three local high school swimming pools: North Thurston, Timberline and River Ridge. During the non-school hours, Lacey Parks and Recreation offers community programming such as swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes, open swim, and facilitates rentals for private groups.
