Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location.

　　Duties: Provide technical oversight across systems and applications. Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects and formulate strategies for applications development and other functional areas. Enforce architectural principles and their implications to system design, security, system extensibility and interoperability, costs, and operational considerations. Design and develop front-end GUI (Graphical User Interface) webpages using leading UI technologies including GWT (Google Web Toolkit), React, and Angular. Create and update webpages to fulfill requirements as per KYC (Know Your Customer) UI guidelines. Improve application performance by monitoring queries and updating indexes. Liaise with Internal Audit and Compliance testing teams to perform regular reviews on system controls and validation across integrations with partner systems, recon reports, and data accuracy checks. Monitor the delivery of end results, participate in budget management, and handle day-to-day management issues including resource management and allocation of work within team/project. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

　　Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Technical Consultant, or in a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Technical Consultant, or in a related occupation. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience. Six (6) years of experience or four (4) years in the alternative with a Master’s degree must include: Developing backend applications including RESTful services utilizing Java 7 or higher; Developing front-end applications utilizing GWT, React JS, Angular JS, or Node JS; Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in a relation database; Project management using Waterfall or Agile methodologies; Developing event driven asynchronous applications using messaging services including Tibco EMS, Kafka, Apache Pulsar or AMQ: Containerizing applications using Docker and setting up configure and host applications on OpenShift or Kubernetes container cloud platform; and Developing Spring Boot microservices and pipeline applications to convert monolithic applications into small independent, scalable, and deployable services. 40 hrs./wk.
