This Position is for a Applications Developer with a Remote company.
Job Summary: The Applications Developer, LT Corp will support applications development and the Quality Steel operations and functions to develop, operate and maintain a variety of systems and initiatives focused on streamlining operations, automating process and aligning customer solutions to enhance business needs. The Applications Developer will collaborate with internal customers and within the IT department to understand business needs, propose solutions and ensure requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions across the organization. This individual will work in collaboration with internal customers, external vendors and across the business and functions to ensure future plans for technology are in line with the plans for the overall customer requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities: Provide daily support for applications for a variety of systems supporting LT Corp operating companies. Build, implement and maintain Power BI reports that provide insights into the company's data. Build, implement and maintain custom Power Apps that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Build, implement and maintain integrations between various applications using available technologies, mainly REST APIs. Build, implement and maintain single source of truth databases, mostly using Microsoft SQL Server or Dataverse. Collaborate with other departments to understand business requirements and identify and implement applications and improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's technology systems. Respond to emails, maintain tickets, and maintain expenses on a daily basis. Investigate and troubleshoot data application issues with internal users. Ensure high quality and usability of all internal applications. Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project. Research current technology trends to provide input on how they may influence overall enterprise architecture.
Education and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing tools and technologies listed above. Strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, and REST APIs. Experience with data analysis and visualization. Passionate about continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field. Self starter, takes initiative to advance work, projects and initiatives. Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders. Servant leader, authentic and transparent - not stuffy or "corporate" style
