  Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

  Project Role DescriptionAct as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

  The Work

  Attend to incident, request, change order and problem tickets using the agreed SLA.

  Manage weekly database restores to lower environments

  Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as rebuilding indexes, upgrades and

  Diagnose and correct database failure conditions, escalating problems as appropriate

  Ensure optimal application performance via proper database maintenance and tuning

  Troubleshoot various problems that arise in a day-to-day work and fix the issues which includes monitoring and Performance Tuning; Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning

  Perform escalated task and manage the team in terms of mitigation/how to address the issues

  Here’s what you need:

  Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields

  2 years or more experience in SQL Database Administration, Maintenance, Patching & Migration

  Experience in Performance Tuning, Back up and Recovery

  People Management is a plus

  Must have Skill: Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration

  Good to Have Skill: Database Technologies
