JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Application Engineering III position isresponsible for technical support for orders, responding to customertechnical questions, and supporting product, sales & marketingactivities for Regal Rexnord\'s Clutch & Brake business. Internally,they will be supporting primary functions such as product support andcustomer service with secondary support to manufacturing, supply chainand marketing. Additionally, they will participate in productivity andsimplification projects for our operations and engineering teams. TheApplication Engineer III works within the product team to acceptassignments, consult with manufacturing & engineering, and producesolutions for repairs and rebuilds of clutches & brakes, reverseengineering of competitive drives, and failure analysis. MajorResponsibilities: Interacts with the sales team and customer totranslates customer specifications into product selections that meetcustomer and Regal Rexnord business needs Designs custom modificationsand accessories for targeted growth verticals and key customersInteracts with sales team and customers to resolve application issuesremotely and onsite, including broad product support Conducts producttear-down analysis and populates data for root cause identification,corrective action forms and failure analysis Evaluates deviation orsubstitution requests from plants/suppliers and provides guidance onresolution Takes responsibility for and complete key tasks on aproject-by-project basis and drive to meet deadlines ensuring projectsuccess In conjunction with engineering, creates test plans to validatedesign concepts and material or manufacturing changes, summarizingresults, and documenting conclusions Resolve challenges related to theinterpretation of drawings, design tolerances, quality and materialrequirements Works closely with manufacturing, inspection and assemblyto problem solve issues Performs reverse engineering of competitorclutches and brakes Required Education / Experience / Skills:Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering or MechanicalEngineering Technology equivalent from an accredited university 7 +years experience in application support, preferably with industrialproducts Understanding of Engineering BOMs and drawings Proficient in MSOffice tools Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and able to effectivelyproblem solve, prioritize, and execute tasks with a sense of urgencyBenefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Coverage Spendingaccounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA) Paid Time Off andHolidays 401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer Contributions Lifeand Accidental Death &...
