Business Analysts on our Technology Services Application Development team provide a bridge between innovation and real-world impact while working with dedicated project team members on bringing innovative opportunities to fruition. This position will provide the option to work with a myriad of hi-tech solutions such as artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, API’s, analytics reporting tools and more. Plante Moran is looking for an individual with a growth mindset that enjoys the challenge of development-based work that provides a variety of the project work assigned.
Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Guide development of proof of concepts, simulated user functionality, and prototypes solutions by engaging with software development team.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions that encourage stakeholders to “think outside the box” and embrace opportunities for innovation.
Utilize business analysis expertise to engage with business and development team members to translate business requirements into customer journey maps, user stories, wireframes, and other key deliverables as part of an agile team.
Lead the convergent thinking process to allow decision making, test and experiment and to continuously improve the concept and work iteratively.
Effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts through clear and concise verbal and/or written communication.
Supports agile approaches and participate in lessons learned sessions and provide feedback to improve future solutions. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to continuous innovation.
Work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Application Developers, Quality Assurance Testers, and Network Engineers to analyze, document, and propose technical and business solutions.
Analyze areas for improvement in internal processes documenting business issues, user interfaces and support systems to increase staff productivity, performance effectiveness, and work-flow efficiency.
Develop UAT plans, test cases, and scenarios based on requirements. Coordinate with business users to conduct UAT, facilitate defect tracking, and ensure that the developed product meets user expectations.
Take personal responsibility for the outcomes of your work; follow through on commitments to others; see things through to completion. Must be self-directed and able to manage your schedule with minimal oversight.
The qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or related degree required.
5+ years of Business Analyst experience required.
Background in Software Engineering, Agile SDLC, or Data Analytics/BI solution delivery
Solid time management, decision making, presentation and organizational skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information
Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.
Colorado monthly base range is as follows:
$6,958.33 to $10,416.67
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
