Job Description:An Epic Beaker Application Analyst is responsible forproviding analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation andsupport (technical and functional) of administrative, financial, orclinical information systems. Is able to function independently. Providestechnical and professional guidance and leadership to peers.
Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems toautomate or improve existing systems. Review system capabilities,workflow, and scheduling limitations.Document workflows, configure and/or build activities, change managementadherence, end user notifications, training information and statusreporting in the appropriate system.Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures,and quality standards.Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Coordinateand link the application within an organization to increase compatibilityforinformation sharing.Review and analyze the system and performance indicators to locate problems,and correct errors.Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolutionCoordinate projects, schedule and facilitate meetings as necessary tocomplete assignments.
Minimum QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredTwo (2) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related fieldis required

Blood Bank/Pathology/Microbiology clinical knowledge andexpertise.
Physical Requirements:Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to movefingers and hands.See and read computer monitors and documents.Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on acomputer, telephone, or other equipment.May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending,kneeling and reaching.
