Key Responsibilities Duties These will include, but not be limited to:

Invoice and receiver matching, quantification and price verification, and invoice preparation for payment sanction o Vendor deposit handling and application

Investigating and resolving invoice inconsistencies by liaising with the procurement and warehouse team and the vendor

Aging the payable to maximize purchase discount utilization

Mailing checks to vendors and maintaining a record of check copies and documentation

Conducting research and complying with vendor inquiries

Collection of W-9s from vendors and Annual 1099 preparation

Placing halt on check payments as and when required

Routing ACH and check payments on a monthly basis

Drafting and reviewing aging weekly

Conducting monthly company employee account reconciliation

Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable, vendor deposit accounts, and other accrued liability accounts

Processing company credit card payments

Insurance certificates and tax payments

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage.
