　　The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Technical Writer who will support the development of AN/SQQ-89 A(V)15 system operational and maintenance Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) for US Navy ships in support of Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B). This position is in Chesapeake, VA.

　　Responsibilities - Work you'll do:

　　Work closely with Logisticians and other Tech Writers as the SQQ-89A(V)15 SME to support the creation of technical dataProvide subject matter expertise in the creation of templates, be able to describe complex and technical topics in a clear, concise, and accurate mannerLead review of documentation as requiredProvide quality assessment of technical manuals being delivered to US Navy shipsMinimal travel may be required for this position

　　Required Experience, Skills, and Education - To Land This Gig You'll Need:

　　Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)Applicant shall have technical experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V) ACB/APB sonar system equipmentAt least 4 years of AN/SQQ-89(V) working experience in both Operations and MaintenanceExcellent written communication and grammatical skillsExcellent organizational skillsExperience working directly with technical SMEsAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple teams

　　Experience working with S1000D or similar collaborative product data systemSystem functional segmentsSonar tactical equipmentSystem LAN operation and administrationFault Detection / Isolation / LocalizationRemove and replace proceduresExperience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support

　　Pay Range:

　　Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00

　　The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
