Description:
Position Summary - Plans, coordinates and provides assistance to the Department of Anesthesia based on the patient’s age, diagnosis and physical status
Duties:
Calibrate anesthesia machines
Trouble-shoot problems with machines
Stock anesthesia supplies
Turn over circuit, wipe down machine and lines between surgeries
Spike lines428
Take specimens to the lab
Assist in emergencies
Set up rapid infuser
Set up for cases in other procedural sites in the hospital
Check expiration dates
Run blood gases and glucose checks
Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year experience
BLS
