FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 2 Schedule: 1300-2130 working Monday toFriday Job Summary: The Anesthesia Technician assists with directpatient care activities, supporting the Anesthesia Providers duringdelivery of anesthesia. Working in the operating room, the incumbentprovides technical services to the anesthesiologist including bloodanalysis, patient care equipment set-up and inspection, and assistancewith basic patient care procedures. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience isrequired or completion of 2 years as an Anesthesia aide along with 1year of Anesthesia tech progression training.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: HighSchool diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree from anaccredited allied health field is preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 daysof hire.
