In Vanguard's Client Experience & Digital (CXD) department, our goal is to evolve and enhance our clients' digital experience. As an analytics expert driving innovation across CXD, the analytics manager plays a critical role in influencing and driving change through implementation of advanced analytics into business & digital solutions. CXD analytics drives strategic decision making & deepens the understanding of Vanguard investors. In this role you will lead a team of analysts who are responsible for a portfolio of strategic data projects that involve gathering data, verifying its accuracy and generating analytics solutions to meet client needs.

　　In this role, you will:

　　1. Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Set performance standards, reviews performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

　　2. Oversee a team of data analysts as they work with key stakeholders to understand business strategy, questions and goals. Brings structure to business requests , translates requirements into analytical project approaches, and directs the successful completion of a portfolio of strategic data projects.

　　3. Lead a team of analysts as they deliver presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement. Provide expert consulting to create recommendations that incorporate an understanding of both the business unit's operational goals and the analytics skills, tools, data and processes to achieve them.

　　4. Collect, analyze, and communicate statistics related to daily business operations. Use findings to develop processes, procedures, and workflows to improve operational effectiveness.

　　5. Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships in order to manage cross-departmental and cross-divisional data projects and coordinates the resolution of operational problems and issues.

　　6. Assist in developing short and long-term initiatives for department to align with business strategies. Participates in business planning activities and development of budgets to determine feasibility and resource needs.

　　7. Support team's continuous development to advance their technical skillsets, and to stay informed of industry innovations in analytics and tools.

　　8. Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

　　9. Be an analytics thought leader at Vanguard and be the catalyst for change.

　　10. Work in an ambiguous environment and adapt quickly to change.

　　What it takes: Minimum of five years related work experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred. Experience leading analytically focused teams. Extraordinary analytical skills, coupled with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful insights from disparate data sources. The ability to understand data, process it, extract value from it, visualize it and communicate insights to audiences of various backgrounds, including senior management.Special Factors
