Role: Strategic Sourcing Analyst
ProfileWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join ourprocurement team as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst. This procurement role willsupport our People Services (Human Resources) and Corporate Travelsourcing lanes by conducting data analysis, generating reports, andassisting in the management of vendor relationships. This is intended to be anentry level role with a path to management by learning contract negotiationand administration of requests for proposal under supervision. The role willprimarily be focused around products and services including but not limited toairline and hotel rates, contract labor rates and general benchmarking; itdoes not require expertise in these areas and is intended to be a generalistrole. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with internal business partners to help facilitate Request forProposals, Request for Quotes and Invitations to Bid under supervision.Review simple contracts for products and services, particularly in thefacilities space.Facilitates delivery of all relevant contract documentation including pricingand other key terms to the procurement systems team to enable purchasing.Maintains documentation on all procedures including final contractingcommercial terms, final supplier quotes, contact information and RFP/RFI documentation.Partners with Category Managers in data gathering, stakeholder discussionsand contract support.Assists Category Managers in evaluating supplier performance as applicable.Researches relevant market, suppliers and technologies and makesrecommendations to internal customers based on analysis.Correspond with suppliers including gathering supplier data, proposals andcreating templates to gather relevant information from suppliers to facilitateevaluation.Perform the Category Manager's roles if needed to support the Procurementteam and demonstrates potential to advance to a managerial role.
SkillsExcellent customer service skills when partnering with the Davita teammates atall levels of the organization. Will also work with suppliers to negotiatewithout damaging relationships but rather work in a spirit of partnership byutilizing the skills of persuasion and influence.Must have strong communications skills, both oral and written, andparticipate and/or lead RFP related meetings.Must manage the selection and evaluation of preferred suppliers includingdocumenting the selection process, evaluating and comparing supplierquotes, bids and information, and making a recommendation based on thefindings. Will present these findings in presentations and provide supportingdocumentation.Should demonstrate the desire to continually learn and evolveMust be adaptable and flexible to market changes, bringing an innovationmindset to the items they are responsible for by leveraging relationships withinternal customers and suppliersAbility to conform to shifting priorities in spend strategies, productdemands and sourcing / purchasing timelines
Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree required, business degree preferred. Ideal courseworkincludes strategy, finance, supply chain operations or consulting projects.Candidate should have between 0-2 years of business experience, procurementexperience preferred.Ability to manage multiple projects.Excellent Skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Coupa and other eSourcingplatforms - preferred.Proficient in MS PowerPoint with experience presenting to a group.Should possess desire to succeed and willingness to advance.

Salary/ Wage Range$50,000.00-$100,000.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including acandidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and mayfall outside of the range shown.
