MMOG – Roles and Responsibilities
Understanding of end to end supply chain knowledge and procedures / systems requirements at supplier end
Experience in supplier auditing for the supply chain / logistics
Knowledge in Material Requirement Planning, Scheduling, Logistics and Warehouse management
Cross functional team working and experience in coordinating and conducting training
Establish timing plan for various stages & drive suppliers to meet the target
Detailed document review and endorse supplier MMOG with Level A as per the time plan
Prepare Management report, track stage wise progress and provide input in CFT meeting
Supplier Delivery Performance Improvement
Analyze various system data and identify Poor Performing suppliers based on defined process
Conduct detailed training for Identified suppliers on Delivery Performance Rating as per training calendar
Work with Poor Performing suppliers to Improve their delivery rating above min. threshold
Collaborate with CFT (Pur/STA) to improve Supplier Operating Index, and Monitor / Initiate detailed action plan with suppliers
Decision making on Recommendation for Revoke/Over-ride based on supplier action plan
Analyze and Process on-time, the Supplier Disputes raised in SuperG Application
Launch
LRR kick-off 3+ months before the start of TT event and supplier readiness in-line with LQOS metrics timelines
Identify suppliers as per OTG/SALT and perform LRR checklist review in SuperG
Conduct supplier assessments based on SALT/ TGWs/Plant inputs
Drive action plan for open points from assessment, and monitor until closure for each launch milestone
Publishing Weekly night letters, Launch Deck preparation and representing SMRT in launch forums, seeking timely escalations/support – if designated as program coordinator
Preferred Skillsets:
Knowledge and Deep understanding of Global MMOG/LE Guidelines
New supplier evaluation and supplier development
Supplier Delivery Performance (KPI) monitoring and improvement
Critical/Constraint Supplier Management
Supplier relationship management
Supply Chain technics (Inbound flows / Packaging / Outbound flows / Diversity / Demand & Supply planning / In-plant Logistic operations / Warehouse management)
Well versed with MS Office Tools (excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience in Large Data Handling/Management
Endorsement of Eligible and targeted suppliers as per MMOG/LE
Coach and Improve Supplier Delivery Performance Rating above threshold as defined
Conduct Lauch Readiness Review assessment for new / carry over suppliers as per the program time line
Establish MP&L process and system at supplier end as per the requirements
Conduct various training to suppliers
Prepare and present various key business reports in Leadership reviews
Onsite visit and drive suppliers to improve production stability as required
Bachelor's degree (Engineering / Non-Engineering)
MBA or Certificate course in Supply Chain Management is added preference.
3+ years of experience in in OEM or Tier1 company, with a preference for the automotive industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
Excellent communication and people skills, with the teams to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Good Communication in English both oral and written is must (Spanish language know is added advantage)
Working timing will be in North America timing (4.30pm to 2.00am)
Knowledge of Supply chain Management and working with global suppliers / customers
