The Analyst - Materials and Planning for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing inventories for all manufactured and purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout APAC regions.
This position is part of the APAC Finished Goods Planning organization, located in Singapore - Hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will report to the Materials and Planning Manager responsible for driving planning excellence while closely collaborating with our colleagues in Commercial and Supply Chain teams, across the regions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Retrieve ordering signals from the MRP system and create internal requisitions to source materials from source warehouses.
Manage the supply of finished goods items at APAC warehouses for customer and internal orders.
Work as a Demand Planner to understand and adjust demand signals where necessary.
Meet inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to reduce inventory levels.
Regularly review stock levels and take necessary action during periods of constrained supply.
Support Planning / Continuous Improvement projects as assigned by the Manager.
Work regularly with source warehouses and manufacturing sites to understand and manage constrained inventory.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in the Supply Chain field with minimum 3 years of relevant planning experience
Proficient in ERP systems, for example Oracle
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lean tools
APICS Certification
