  Position Summary...

  What you'll do...

  Walmart, a global leader in the retail industry, is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Walmart's ongoing efforts in adopting automation and optimizing our supply chain operations. As an Engineer at Walmart, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise to drive efficiency, improve processes, and contribute to the success of our organization.   Primary Responsibilities

  Identify areas for cost reduction, waste elimination, and process improvement

  Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives

  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on process design and improvement

  Use industrial engineering techniques such as time studies, work measurement, and motion analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization

  Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and perform root cause analysis

  Lead or support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting

  Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

  Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma

  Proficient in the use of process mapping, data analysis, and statistical tools (Minitab)

  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically

  Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  Familiar with manufactuing processes, supply chain management, and quality management systems

  Certification in Lean Six Sigma or project management (e.g., PMP)

  Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying basic Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools, Possess applied knowledge of a functioning Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc
