The position
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
Be a member of a team that has the corporate responsibility for crude oil qualities covering the crude value chain from field to customer.
Monitor crude oil qualities and ensure use of correct assays.
Update assays and be responsible for publishing crude oil assays at Equinor.com.
Assess refinery and market values of crudes and provide insights to underlying factors driving the value of crudes.
Collaborate broadly with multiple teams, both within and outside Marketing, Midstream and Processing.
Contribute to the development of our ranking and valuation tools.
Give analytical and advisory support to the development of business cases and investment decisions.
You

Minimum BSc. in engineering or chemistry or a master’s degree or equivalent in business.
5 years of post-graduate experience within the field. Knowledge of refinery processes and logistics is desirable.
Experience of running LP models is an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
A team player, who enjoys working with others to achieve a shared goal, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of people.
Strong communication skills in English both verbally and written.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mind-set.
Strong personal integrity and ability to challenge how things are done.
