Review lease abstracts and review them for accuracy
Coordinate with multiple locations to ensure proper updates reflected in lease asset and liability calculations
Calculate right-of-use assets and lease liabilities
Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems, including general ledger journal entries for leases.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts, including lease balance sheet and expense accounts
Prepare periodic reports and related analysis for internal and external customers and external financial audits
Perform research for internal and external customers.
Scan accounting documentation
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Create and maintains procedure documentation
Handle confidential information as needed
Maintain detailed work volume in a highly organized manner
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with minimum 2 years experience in Accounting preferred.
Fundamental understanding of US GAAP lease accounting standard
Experience with MS Office programs, particularly Excel, and fundamental understanding of accounting systems.
Ability to work with a high degree of detail and able manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
