The Team
The Automotive Finance Team at Scotiabank is experiencing a massive transformation and growth with constantly evolving digital journeys and disruptions within automotive ecosystem and financing technologies. Scotiabank is one of the top automotive finance lenders in Canada and the role will be pivotal to drive the growth forward and maintain our leading position in the marketplace through delivering innovative and top notch digital solutions for our automotive partners, business and customers
Is this role right for you?
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for new projects or system enhancements
Analyze and document current processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
Translate requirements into functional specifications and solutions to support Senior Manager
Work closely with Technology development teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of systems and applications.
Collaborate with Senior Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Senior Manager to understand resource needs and optimize contract terms and document process!
Track and report on contract documentation monthly basis, including key metrics and indicators.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within resource contracts.
Serve as a primary point of contact for operational process and handle internal Automotive procedures
Ensure compliance with established operational procedures and best practices
Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational documentation and knowledge base
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Analyst or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience in documenting business processes, requirements, and system specifications.
Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and project management methodologies.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques is a plus.
Relevant certifications in business analysis or related fields are advantageous.
