The Western Union Global Product Compliance team helps to provide customer centric, compliant products throughout the world for Western Union. GPC works to inform WU Business of risks and controls so that WU can deliver safe and secure products to customers. We oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideas all the way through product launch. GPC helps drive major strategic priorities for the company and to deliver valuable products to our consumers.
Role Responsibilities
You will be explaining complex things in a simple manner.
Drive the execution of all processes in the compliance product lifecycle from idea to design to market launch
You will collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Business and IT teams to deliver high value, customer centric products
Provide detailed requirements to Business and Product teams to support them in delivering compliant products to the market
Complete comprehensive risk assessments to identify AML risks and recommend mitigating controls.
Manage several concurrent product launches
Assist with complex product related issues by providing Compliance focused guidance on suitable solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional teams including Compliance, Legal, Operations, Engineering, and Business
Role Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in any of the following: working with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering compliance, general compliance and/or risk-based compliance, yielding a comprehensive understanding of technology and best practices in the compliance field.
You will be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
You have strong communication skills and you are able to communicate with various stakeholders at different seniority levels.
Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making ability.
You have great multitasking skills and able to prioritize work tasks effectively.
You have flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations and new assignments with an ease.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $107,812 - 138,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
