Americas Director Solutions Engineering
*This is a remote role based out of United States or Canada*
Responsibilities:
Build and lead a team of sales engineers and SE managers who serve as our coreproduct introduction, evaluation and education expertsCoordinate cross functional dotted line resources to achieve your team goalsPartner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota and consumptiontargets and ensure customer successProvide guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategy, productobstacles/gaps and represent the team's needs to executive staffInterpret complex problems, create simple solutions and collaborate closelywith prospects, channel partners and our sales team to deliver winningsolutionCollaborate and maintain a close working relationship with product,engineering, sales, marketing and servicesPlay an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates andmanaging the entire interview processAct as a player/coach working with your team on and delivering compellingpresentations to cu stomers and prospectsInnovate and implement strategies that will uplevel your teams skillsProvide ongoing mentorship to SE Managers and SEs to teach technical andnon-technical pre-sales techniques for securing new clients, managingcustomers, and account expansion to support upsellContinually assess and develop technical capabilities of each team member toensure each SE reaches and maintains required technical knowledge toeffectively perform their pre-sales dutiesProvide periodic performance reviews, assess skill sets, handle personalissues, and provide personal/professional development opportunities.Deliver sales presentations, present technical information about Cribl'sproducts and services, and conduct product demonstrationsCollaborate with Sales management to identify opportunities to improve uponand standardize best practices in SE/SR relationship
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven ability to communicate effectively in presentations in person, viatelephone, and through remote conferencing with executive level customers,direct reports, and the Cribl Leadership TeamAbility to teach ways to identify new and existing opportunities through basicconsultative selling methodologyA history of successfully leading a technical pre-sales team that drivestarget attainmentMust be able to lead a team and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotarequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent AND 3-5 years of experience in a customerfacing role OR equivalent combination or education and experience

Proven self-starter with a motivated attitude to be able to manage multipletasks, projects, and responsibilities simultaneouslyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining apleasant and professional attitude towards customers and co-workers.
Salary Range ($123,500 - $217,600)
The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salaryoffered within the range described will be based on the individualcandidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In additionto a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package whichincludes health, dental, vis on, short-term disability, and lifeinsurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatmentbenefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionarycompany-wide bonus
