　　MAS2 US ADC is looking for an Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer (ADCE)!

　　This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems.

　　AWS established a specialized group of service teams responsible for the work we are doing with the U.S. Intelligence Community. We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, and we need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them.

　　This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.

　　Available locations include Arlington, VA; Herndon, VA.

　　A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. 　　Arlington, VA: This role will sit in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.5 billion dollars, occupy 4 million square feet of energy efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs. 　　A day in the life

　　Every day is Day 1 at Amazon. On a typical day, our Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineers (ADCE) will support AWS CloudTrail engineering and operations by completing activities including but not limited to:

　　Manage and monitoring systems health and status,

　　Provisioning devices, assisting with data ingestion, and device cleaning,

　　Troubleshooting device, network, and/or configuration related issues,

　　Identifying, documenting, and communicating engineering and operations recommendations to team members,

　　Writing and disseminating after action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans,

　　Providing on-call support when necessary.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)

　　3+ years of experience operating in a Unix, Linux, or Red Hat environment.

　　3+ years of experience implementing automated software testing, scripting, deployment, and performance analysis systems.

　　3+ years of experience of proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.

　　2+ years of experience with standard Internet protocols and networking fundamentals (Ethernet, ARP, TCP/IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, etc.)

　　Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　· 5+ years experience with cloud computing technologies.

　　· 5+ years of experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments.

　　· 5+ years experience troubleshooting.

　　· 3+ years of networking experience.

　　· 3+ years of experience with performance and log analysis.

　　· 2+ years of experience automating routine tasks.
