Our Asset Management Operations team is responsible for supporting, overseeing, and optimizing the end-to-end investment process, primarily working with Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Traders, Risk Management, Client Service, Technology, and other functions across the transaction lifecycle.
As an Alternatives Treasury Operations Associate on the Asset Management Operations Team, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the client and employee experience, including service levels, satisfaction, and overall performance of the team. In this role, you will deliver tactical and strategic solutions in a highly controlled and regulated environment to meet objectives in a fast-changing and dynamic environment. You will also help delegate workflow, assist team members with complex issues and work with the manager on coaching the team's performance. You will assist with making routine and complex business decisions that have both customer and financial impacts.
Job Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day cash management activities performed by the team, including cash processing and bank account opening, closing, and maintenance functions
Assist the team with daily deliverables and queries while being able to assist with approvals.
Identify areas of risk and highlight to management and stakeholders to ensure relevant controls are in place.
Ensure all standard operating procedures are updated and being reviewed periodically for changes.
Participate in global projects and local initiatives, including identifying, evaluating and delivering process improvement opportunities.
Act as a point of escalation for process-related matters and resolve any inquiries or issues as required.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
3 or more years of relevant experience, preferably in an operations or cash management role
Experience in treasury banking operations in the financial services industry
Ability to proactively and openly communicate with internal business partners and clients to support the business.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work
Able to influence, engage effectively in problem solving discussions, and lead troubleshooting measures to resolution
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance or related field
Experience with data and automation tools (such as, Alteryx, Python, Signavio or Tableau)
