FS Companies are committed to ensuring the continued profitability for the company, their owners, and their customers, while enacting to help the environment and greater good. * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Responsible for a variety of tasks which are required to assist in meeting internal and external customer needs. _ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_ * Perform alignments * Diagnose and knowledge to replace parts * Perform and diagnose mechanical issues * Change and balance tires * Diagnose and repair tires (plug and patch) * Performs and records daily safety checks of equipment as required * Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on/off trucks, trailers, or railcars * Change oil and perform other ordered maintenance on vehicles * Communicate effectively with customers * Responsible for inventory control * Develop knowledge of tire size and parts necessary for proper repair * Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance * Complete work orders * Test drive vehicles * Deliver repaired vehicles to customers * Answer phones and handle internal and external customer inquiries * Work effectively with co-workers * Responsible for the housekeeping of the shop and company vehicles * Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA, EPA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times. * All other duties as assigned. _ REQUIREMENTS_ Requires a high school diploma, GED or related experience equivalent.
