　　AIX Systems Engineer, Sr.

　　The System Engineering - AIX team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions to all Fiserv internal customers. Working with Architecture, Automation, iCTO and other Internal Fiserv Technology Services teams, the Advisory Engineer will deliver an infrastructure solution that is technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business. Delivery of the infrastructure solution includes a variety of skills including infrastructure architecture, hands-on build-out and configuration of the infrastructure, as well some project management skills ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on-time. A high degree of collaboration with Architecture, and other FTS teams is required to provide right level of agility within a defined delivery process. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, and will be able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.

　　Collaborate on a matrix team consisting of a variety of Infrastructure Engineering groups, as well as Development groups and Client Relationship groups

　　Learn new technologies required for accomplishing project goals

　　Produce high quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as well as detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.

　　Design, implement and manage solutions utilizing Ansible automation, terraform, Salt or other automation tools.

　　Designing and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.

　　Deploy Infrastructure using standard automation

　　What you will need to have:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

　　6+ years of relevant experience in AIX Operating system and IBM Power Systems infrastructure including, LPAR, VIO, and HMC.

　　Current, enterprise-class Infrastructure/System Engineering experience with AIX systems

　　Extensive knowledge in Shell Scripting and AIX automation

　　Extensive knowledge in AIX Performance monitoring and LPM

　　Working knowledge of networking protocols and components including TCP/IP, DNS, NFS

　　Understanding of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) concepts.

　　Technical leadership for internal project assignments and tasks

　　Experience with automated system builds and configuration management tools like RunDeck/Ansible, Micro Focus OO, Nautobot

　　Would be nice to have:

　　Infrastructure/System Engineering experience

　　Working knowledge of PowerHA

　　Working knowledge of supporting Oracle Databases in a large scale enterprise environment.

　　Experience in Splunk

　　Experience in BigFix Automatio
