As part of the Information Integrity team, you will play a lead role in helping to deliver the highest quality customer experiences for knowledge seeking requests across a variety of Apple products - including Siri, Spotlight, Safari, and more. Work with multi-functional product and technology teams to establish robust strategies for continuous improvements up and down the stack as well as implementing metrics to assess coverage and correctness of both existing and new features and systems. Demonstrate your technical understanding and product sense to weave and ship scalable engineering solutions and ensure tangible improvements in end-user experiences. Strong candidates are self-starters who demonstrate robust strategic intuition and a passion for the user experience. They thrive in ambiguity, excel in communication, and have a track record of leading global, multi-functional and technical projects.
Key Qualifications
Excellent grasp of the fundamentals of software engineering
Outstanding problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of engineers, data scientists, designers, and communicate effectively with management, leadership, and multi-functional partners
Strengths in leading large, multi-functional teams to build sophisticated, technological solutions with a high quality bar within complex system architectures
Proficient in scripting languages and tools for data processing and development (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
Extraordinary product sense, with a steadfast focus on the health of the user journey
Experience working with ML products and pipelines
Exposure to large language models, data generation methods, model fine-tuning & evaluation, prompt engineering
Description
For this position within the AIML Information Integrity team, you will be tasked with identifying and spearheading the most impactful quality initiatives for Siri and Search products, with a particular focus on knowledge seeking queries. Grounded in data-driven insights and aided by your business sense and general awareness of important world events, your work will span the entire stack and ensure tangible improvements in end-user experiences. You will collaborate with partner teams to design and build and ship scalable engineering solutions. The responsibilities will include: - Make data driven decisions to identify, compare and prioritize opportunities to improve our Siri and Search products - Automating, scripting and integrating workflow from diverse systems to aid in the above objectives - Collaborate closely with partner teams to ensure end-to-end impact
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in computer science, data science or equivalent

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
