　　The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is actively seeking Aide Trainees to be a part of our health care team at Clarks Summit State Hospital. The goal of Clarks Summit State Hospital's treatment is to facilitate each person's recovery and return to the community. The Nursing Department is looking for individuals who are willing to learn and become trained and compassionate caregivers to be an integral part of the therapeutic treatment team services for the people we serve. 　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Aide Trainee is the beginning level position in the Aide series and the work level is that of a training nature. The employee should be able to maintain an understanding attitude toward the care of psychiatric and/or elderly residents. The Aide Trainee should be a responsible person, show initiative in self-improvement, and express a willingness to learn. They should be able to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and maintain simple records. The employee should also be able to get along with people.
