Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Hollandale, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 11/30/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon.-Thurs. 10 hrs./day These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DUTIES: Assist with daily farm functions. Workers will prepare seed potatoes for shipping; plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables using tractor and tractor implements. Attach farm implements such as plow, planter, fertilizer applicator to tractor and drive tractors in fields to prepare soil and plant, fertilize, and harvest crops. Thin, hoe, and weed row crops using hand implements. Work requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending over, and repetitive movements. Drug screen required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
