Hours: 48 hours per week, 8 hour days, Mon-Sat 8a-5p'Effective 1/1/24, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked perweek, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks."
Duties: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually orusing conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, ortransfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions,powders, or seeds into planter orsprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to controlinsects, fungus and weed growth, anddiseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation todetect equipment malfunctions.Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.Operate or tend equipment usedin agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigationequipment. Adjust, repair, and servicefarm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farmimplements such as plows,discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.Load hoppers, containers, or conveyorsto feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers,suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operatetowed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant,fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Weighcrop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifyinginformation. Drive trucks to haul crops,supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery toplant, cultivate, harvest and store graincrops.
