Description

　　Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing real estate development company that is looking to hire a Project Accountant. The Project Accountant will report to the Controller and will be an integral part of the accounting team and will be partnering with several internal and external partners. As the Project Accountant you will be preparing monthly construction draws for multiple projects, weekly and monthly check runs, job cost reports and financial report generation. 　　Duties will include:

　　Oversee the accounts payable process to ensure proper review, approval, adherence to contract and budget balances, and timely and accurate payment.

　　Track lien releases, supplier lien releases and preliminary notices.

　　Prepare, audit and process monthly and weekly check runs.

　　Prepare job cost reports and analysis.

　　Track budget versus actual profit and be able to communicate reasons for variances.

　　Prepare monthly financial statements for each project.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree or relatable project accounting experience.

　　Experience working in construction, homebuilding or real estate industry is preferred.

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement.
