Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Wood Lake, Minnesota. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/22/2024 Work: 55 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 10 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As required in Minnesota, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment/farm trucks/tractors for planting, spraying and harvesting of crops. Clean/maintain/repair machinery and equipment. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Minor farm construction projects. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Finishing hogs, assist with chores in the barn, and loading farm trucks for market weight. Precondition and maintain cattle: Monitor birthing of baby calves, hay all cattle, haul water to cattle, mix feed, monitor health, vaccinate. Operate feed truck/pay loader. Clean pens. Put up/maintain fence. Manure hauling. May haul cattle to market. Crops: corn, soybeans. 1 hour meal break. Benefits: cell phone. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience. Must have valid Class D Driver's License. Must be able to communicate in English. Able to lift 60lbs. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
