  This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/12814663Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to thefollowing: Operate various farm equipment (combines, farm tractors, farmtrucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, andharvesting of crops. Load/unload trucks. May involve climbing ladders,grain bins etc. Maintain machinery, i.e. change fluids in equipment,rotate tires, clean grain bins, wash vehicles, change brakes, check tirepressure, general maintenance, etc. Ground maintenance on farm and/orhousing, i.e. weed eating, mowing. Maintain/clean shop area. Othermiscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting,carrying, bending, and long days in the heat and cold. Rain days aretypically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for thenext days work. Must communicate in English, follow instructions, and bephysically capable of performing all job duties.

  30 minute break offered

  Crops: wheat, corn, milo

  Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilitiesso that workers may prepare their own meals and will providetransportation to assure workers access to stores where they canpurchase groceries.

  The employer shall provide transportation between the place where theemployer has provided housing to the actual work site & return at theend of the workday. Such transportation will be without cost to theworker, & the means of transportation shall meet all applicable safetystandards. Workers who chose to decline employer provide housing alsoforego employer provided transportation. Workers may not use or operateemployer vehicles their personal use unless expressly authorized by theemployer. Workers may be responsible for fuel for personal use.

  The employer will provide housing. May charge the worker for loss ordamages to equipment, tools, housing, furnishings, or any other employersupplied item (other than normal wear and tear) caused by the worker.Fines and tickets incurred by the employee for equipment misuse will bededucted from pay. Employee will be responsible for excessive filthresulting in the necessity for professional cleaning of housing.
