Highlights
This Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will join our Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) team, located at Community Hospitals East and South. This position will provide inpatient consultation services and care to older adults who are hospitalized. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Hours may vary based on patient volume/needs. No call/weekend commitment.
Requirements
Must understand the specific needs of older adults as they navigate the health challenges that may accompany aging
Must possess the ability and desire to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team and have genuine interest in delivering outstanding patient care
Experience in the advanced practice of nursing with an Adult & Geriatric certification strongly preferred
Flexibility to travel to other Indianapolis Community Health Network hospital sites as needed
Licensure & Certification
Educational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana.
