Position Overview: As an Advanced Practice Nurse at Priority Group Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of each individual.Responsibilities:Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses.Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.Therapeutic Interventions:Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents.Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on individual progress.Medication Management:Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as needed.Monitor and evaluate medication effectiveness, adjusting dosages as necessary.Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate integrated care.Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment strategies.Crisis Intervention:Participate in crisis intervention as needed.Collaborate with the team to develop and implement crisis prevention plans.Documentation:Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.Provide written reports and updates to the team as required.Qualifications:Current Advanced Practice Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills.
