JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician (32hours/week) to support General Surgery and Wound at Westfields Hospitaland Clinic in New Richmond, WI and Mamery Hospital and Clinic in Amery,WI. Shifts will be 4 days/week between 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.Employment is through the HealthPartners Clinic in Stillwater,Minnesota, and working onsite at Westfields and Amery, part of the St.Croix Valley region of HealthPartners. The Advanced Practice Clinician(Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides health careservices in the clinic setting to department-specific patients. This mayinclude the provision of primary and preventive healthcare services aswell as care for acute illness and injury. The NP/PA administers patientcare and practices prescriptive authority in accordance with MinnesotaState Law and the standards set by the Board of Directors of StillwaterMedical Group. The NP/PA will work closely with all physicians in theDepartment in order to ensure continuity of care and will be assigned aphysician mentor who will be available to the NP/PA for consultation onclinical and patient care issues. The NP/PA routinely interacts withpatients and customers of the Stillwater Medical Group and willdemonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and service and willsupport the short and long term mission, goals and objectives of theStillwater Medical Group. The NP/PA may be required to participate andshare duties such as weekend hours and call responsibility as well asother duties as assigned. Requirements are representative of minimumlevels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities. One year of surgical orspecialty experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursepractitioner program and completion of Masters of Science Degree inNursing - OR - Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as anAdvanced Practice Nurse by the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Boards ofNursing - OR Current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesotaand Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice Certification as a SpecializedNurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of thespecialization - OR - Certified by the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants Current DEA License.
