UW Medical Center, Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) in the CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION (CATH) LAB. 　　WORK SCHEDULE: • 100% FTE, Full-time, 40-hours-per-week• Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm, with rotating day off• On-Call Shifts after regular department hours according to a monthly schedule.

　　POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: • Case types include all complex coronary (PCI, CTO, Brachy), structural heart (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid clip, LAAO, ASD/PFO/VSD, etc.), heart failure/transplant (Biopsies, RHC, Impella, Tandem, ECMO, IABP) and adult-congenital procedures.• Work as part of a dynamic, comprehensive care team.

　　PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases.• Effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.

　　REQUIREMENTS: • Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS)

　　• OR

　　Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program AND Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)

　　• Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualification except where there are legal requirements, such as a license.
